Ambassador LeVine, Swiss President Participate in Biogen Groundbreaking in Luterbach

On January 29, 2016, Ambassador Suzan LeVine joined Swiss President Johann Schneider-Ammann at Biogen’s next-generation biologics manufacturing facility Groundbreaking Ceremony in Luterbach.  Founded in Switzerland, the now Massachusetts-headquartered biotech company is expanding its manufacturing footprint in Switzerland with the construction of this new site, slated to be operational in early 2019.  George A. Scangos, CEO of Biogen also participated in the ceremony.  While in Luterbach, Ambassador LeVine also met with local government officials.
