Event: The U.S. Embassy in Bern informs U.S. citizens that there are two demonstrations planned on Sunday, October 22, 2023, 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm at Place des Nations in Geneva.Actions to Take: U.S. citizens should avoid the demonstration and immediate area during the times noted above.  The demonstrations may cause traffic/public transportation delays and an increased police presence.  The U.S. Embassy is monitoring the security environment and coordinating with the local authorities.

Always exercise caution and stay alert in public places, be aware of your surroundings, and remain vigilant.  Immediate life safety concerns should be reported to the Geneva Police at 117.
