U.S. Embassy Bern Youth Council
Are you a Swiss citizen or resident between the ages of 15-21? Do you want to develop your leadership skills and empower Swiss youth? Do have a say in shaping policies that affect young people in Switzerland? If so, we invite you to apply for the U.S. Embassy Bern Youth Council.
The Youth Council is a State Department program that partners with emerging young leaders to address challenges in society. As a member of the Youth Council, you will advise the Embassy on youth-related issues, devise strategies and initiatives to promote youth civic engagement in Switzerland.
Application Requirements:
- Swiss citizens or residents ages 15-21
- Fluency in spoken English
- Interest in diplomacy, international relations, and cross-cultural understanding
- Demonstrated engagement in community service or youth organizations
- Dedication and availability to attend meetings and fulfill the responsibilities of council membership
Program Benefits:
