Mark Johnson, Founder of the Clean Energy Block Chain Network, in Switzerland from 19 to 21 February

With support from the U.S. Embassy Bern, Mark Johnson will be in Switzerland where he will give several talks. Mark Johnson is an expert in using blockchain applications to digitally track the use of clean energy and the extent of carbon emissions. These applications help improve transparency, raise awareness on energy consumption, and considerably lower costs. Working with Smart Cities programs, Mark also has significant experience in critical infrastructure for smart cities, as well as energy efficiency and renewable energy programs in cities and states, including solar storage. Mark is the Founder and Chair of Helpanswers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sharing knowledge on clean energy blockchain applications, energy efficiency, and using renewable energy to reduce energy costs and carbon emissions. One specific application is CleanestCharge.com, which charges electric vehicles from solar energy that is tracked and traced through blockchain for grid independence and resiliency. Mark’s passion is sharing this knowledge on clean energy applications and their use worldwide.
