On invitation by the U.S. Embassy in Bern, on March 14 and 15 Michael Lind will have several speaking engagements in Lausanne, Bern, Zurich and St. Gallen. Michael Lind is co-founder of the think tank New America and now Visiting Professor at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. A former editor or staff writer at The New Yorker, Harper’s, The New Republic and The National Interest, he is the author of numerous books on politics, economics and history, including Big is Beautiful: Debunking the Myth of Small Business and Land of Promise: An Economic History of the United States.

On Wednesday, March 14 he will speak at the World Trade Institute in Bern in a Brown Bag Seminar. The title of his talk is “Prospects for Global Growth after the Great Recession.” You can find more information here. No registration is required.
