P. Rough: Speaker on Former and Current U.S. Administrations’ Middle East Foreign Policy Strategies

On invitation by the U.S. Embassy in Bern, Peter Rough, fellow at the think tank Hudson Institute in Washington, DC, was in Switzerland on February 7 for a series of speaking engagements. In his talks, Rough addressed the strategic considerations of the White House in the Middle East and to what extent the current thinking differs from previous administrations. Peter Rough touched upon the situation in Syria, the Iran nuclear agreement, the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, and the position of the Kurds.
