Ambassador Edward McMullen today announced he is recruiting companies to join the Swiss and Liechtenstein business delegation to the 2020 SelectUSA Investment Summit, which will take place June 1-3, 2020 in Washington, D.C. The Investment Summit promotes the U.S. as a premier investment destination and connects qualified foreign firms with U.S. economic development organizations to facilitate business investment and job creation. Last year, Ambassador McMullen led a delegation of 48 Swiss company executives, the second largest European delegation, to the Summit with great success.
The Investment Summit has historically provided many returns for Swiss and Liechtenstein business investors. Past Investment Summit participants from Switzerland and Liechtenstein have announced more than $968 million in new investment projects in the United States. Swiss energy and commodities group Mercuria summed up the impact of their participation:

The 2020 SelectUSA Investment Summit will also focus on startup tech companies from across the world, who will have the opportunity to exhibit their products. Companies will be able to apply to give a 15-minute pitch in front of a panel of judges made up of venture capitalists and corporate investors.
