Subject: Student Demonstrations in Bern and other metropolitan areas throughout Switzerland on Saturday, March 24, 2018
Location: Demonstrators will gather near the Reithalle/Schützenmatte in Bern on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. They are expected to march through downtown to the Bundesplatz area. The demonstration is expected to end at 5:00 p.m. Similar demonstrations may take place in other major cities throughout Switzerland; the Embassy does not have further details at this time. Please monitor local media.
Event: The demonstration is organized by student groups in support of “Strong Education”. Approximately 2,000 demonstrators are expected in Bern.
