The areas around the Cornavin Train Station and the Mont Blanc Bridge are expected to be heavily impacted. Please visit the Facebook page of the Geneva Cantonal Police for a detailed map of the route and updates.
Event: On Tuesday, October 16 and Wednesday, October 17, 2018, labor organizations in Geneva are planning protest marches through the city, which will result in traffic disruptions. Up to 2,000 protestors are expected to march through Geneva from approximately 06:00 to 11:00 each day. The areas around the Cornavin Train Station (06:00-07:30) and the Mont Blanc Bridge (07:00-08:30) are expected to be heavily impacted, with the Mont Blanc Bridge closed to vehicle traffic at the hours listed above. Routes throughout the city and neighboring areas are likely to be congested as a result. Protests may continue through the week, please monitor the news and the Geneva Cantonal Police for the latest updates.
